In honor of Earth Day, the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their 2nd annual Living Green Symposium on “Smart Water Management” on April 24th, beginning at 8am. Chazen’s Director of Municipal Engineering, Jeff Econom, will be a guest speaker. Jeff has more than 23 years experience in Municipal Engineering and as April 1st, Jeff was re-appointed as the Region 1 Representative for Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control Inc(CPESC), which encompasses the east coast from New York to Maine. Currently, Jeff is the Region 1 and 2 Representative for CMS4S(Certified Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Specialist). The CMS4S recognizes professionals in the Stormwater Regulation arena throughout the country. Jeff served as the original Chairman of the Board for EnvironCert International. While Chair of EnviroCert, Jeff was one of eighteen professionals selected by People to People to represent the United States of America as an ambassador to China for water quality and erosion/sediment control issues that China faces.
