Mid-Orange Correction Facility
Chazen was hired to locate and quantify leaks in the water distribution system and evaluated the need for overall improvements to the water distribution system. Chazen reviewed the mapping information provided by the NYSOGS and is generating a hydraulic model of the distribution system. Additionally, Chazen will refine the model, adjust base assumptions, and identify remaining anomalies in the system. Model information and actual fire hydrant flow data will be illustrated on the survey map for presentation. Chazen will observe and document the results of additional data collection efforts and revise the written report to document the additional data collection efforts, revise the recommendations for improvements to the distribution system, and revise the opinion of probable costs for implementation of the improvements.
