Multiple NYCDEP facilities
The Chazen Companies provided geotechnical and structural engineering design services for the development of five new wastewater treatment facilities. Our engineers prepared complete building construction documents including plans, details and specifications. These single story masonry and steel structures were analyzed for code-required wind, snow, dead and live loads. Traditional reinforced concrete foundations, reinforced masonry load-bearing walls and open-web structural steel roof framing materials were utilized. Construction phase services included on-site construction observation, shop drawing review and concrete strength results evaluation.
