The Chazen Companies provided full site civil engineering and design for a 94-room luxury hotel in Lake Placid New York. The hotel features an Adirondack themed design on an extensively landscaped site. Chazen was responsible for all aspects of site design, including an underground parking garage, enclosed pool and skating rink. Design of a complex stormwater management system incorporating three wet ponds was also completed. Chazen prepared extensive environmental documentation for the project and assisted with the approval process. The hotel opened for business in the winter of 2005.
